Karibu Serengeti

Marvel at the African Broadway as its never-ending grassland terrain amplifies the ambiance of the wild; rare and untamed animals found in great numbers scatter across this magnificent display of nature’s wonder. Home to the most spectacular exhibit of the Great Wildebeest Migration, Serengeti is no foreigner to exceptional action from the 300 mammal species and 500 bird species that live in its vast plains. Woodlands Camp, Sametu Camp, and River Camp have the opportunity to capture crucial moments of the wildebeest migration journey, each an effect viewpoint in the own respect.

Karibu Camps in The Savannah Grasslands

Sametu Camp

From a bird’s eye view, the luxurious suites of Sametu Camps create a majestic shape of a bird flying across the pale-yellow grass. Sametu’s well renowned panoramic scenery of the Serengeti will leave you breathless as you set your eyes upon its resident wildebeest, zebra, antelope, and elephant grazing alongside the suites lazily, enjoying the safety the lodge has to offer from prying eyes like those of lions and cheetahs, who only show early in the morning before the sun rises and at nighttime.

The lodge welcomes you to its 15 luxury suites that can accommodate a family group comfortably, where you can enjoy the scenic thrill over a bush meal, sipping wine whilst sundowning, and balloon safaris.

Mara River Camp

There is nothing quite like the rumble of fervent wildebeest running across the field of the Serengeti a few meters away from your suite. Situated at approximately 300m from the Mara River, River Camp exposes you to the world’s largest fight for survival between June and October, the migration of wildebeest as they cross the crocodile-infested river in hopes to reach the other side of it in one piece. This fantastic scene also invites the hungry eyes of lions who linger in the background, waiting for the right opportunity to catch their meal.

Our 15 luxury suites accommodate both large and small groups, giving you the ultimate experience in the frontlines throughout the year under the African Sky, with unique dining options under the starry night sky in the evenings.

Woodlands Camp

What makes Woodlands Camp so unique is its seasonality; gracefully resting on the slopes of Nabi Hills, Woodlands is the perfect place to witness the emotionally captivating births of several hundreds of wildebeest calves as well as other animals who escort the migration and are in tune with this magnificent season of life in January and February.

A remote getaway, Woodlands is a desirable location for couples and private family trips alike, giving you the privacy and intimacy, few have had the pleasure of experiencing with our hospitality and attention to detail to provide a dream safari getaway.
