Every camp is designed to come apart cleanly, so the setting outlives the stay.
Water saving and recycling systems run across all camps, treating a scarce resource as one.
Structures are designed to be relocated without permanent disruption, leaving minimal trace on the land.
Camps are built around existing vegetation, not through it, so the setting stays intact.
Eco-friendly cleaning agents and guest amenities keep harmful waste out of the environment.
Strict adherence to TANAPA guidelines to avoid disruption to local wildlife and its rhythms.

We hire, buy, and answer locally.
A camp draws its water, its food and its team from the places nearest it. That closeness is a responsibility, and we treat it as one.
Community engagement and employment at every property, with local talent hired and grown.
Kitchen ingredients come from nearby farms and markets, cutting transport emissions and supporting the regional economy.
We work with Maasai communities to preserve heritage through authentic, non-commercialised interactions.

Established to serve the people of Tanzania, the centre was built with the hope of providing comfort, care, and access to essential treatment closer to home.
Inaugurated in January 2026 by MHE. Mohamed Mchengerwa. Made possible with the support of Spanish Tiles & Sanitary Ware.

Support for scholarship candidates
Every year, fully-funded scholarships from universities, governments and foundations go unclaimed. Not for want of qualified students, but because the information is scattered across hundreds of provider sites, and deadlines pass before students ever hear about them.
Karibu funds Scholar Africa, where every active scholarship is indexed in one place, each application link tested before it is published, and students browse by nationality, level and field of study. Every link goes to the official provider portal.

Wildlife Camera App
A field journal that identifies itself
A mobile app that turns scattered safari photos into a permanent, AI-identified field journal, finished with a printable handbook at the end of the trip.
Built locally and running on local AI, it contributes to species mapping and replaces printed field guides with on-demand digital ones. Responsible tourism, without the preach.

A portal giving travel partners access to all our lodge information, rates, park fees, photos and brochures, kept up to date automatically.
Agents build co-branded client itineraries, learn our properties in a dedicated training area, and, on their own WordPress site, install a Karibu plugin that pulls lodges, photos, rates and booking forms straight onto their pages.
